This is a drawing I made that is burned into a bottle that was slip cast with two shades of porcelain. Both sides are interesting and beautiful. The entrancing liquid-pour pattern is an effect caused by swirling together the different porcelains at precise moments during the casting process.

Triple fired. Clear glaze inside. The image is iron oxide that becomes one with the clay body during the final firing. It's totally permanent and will not scratch off.

Food and dishwasher safe.
